infinite warfare is this an add on or a new game??

My biggest issue with the call of duty series as a whole is the recycling of contents is horrible.
This is what we call the "Jordan" effect. Bring out the same thing but with a new color and cool nick name... Im not buying. It feels too much like "rebranding" of the same thing to me.
